per month / makeup class for missed lessons on the last Student will need:
Parental Involvement/Supervision Required for all lessons.

Now as a Hippotherapist she continues to help
ALL children ride to their greatest potential.

Introduction/Goal
1. Nature
of the Horse— monomial/binomial
Safety—how to walk around the horse
Haltering—slip-knot, boss & partner, horse in lead, hold rope
in a figure 8, use good
personal stance
Horse
feeling your movement—Exercise in the yard, water in the cup, lead rope
w/hands
2. Western
Seat/English Seat—Tack to use and name of tack
Grooming before the ride—horse will act better when nothing is agitating him
Saddling—proper placement & padding, on the horses
body, mount/dismount—bridle & saddle

3. Start,
Stop, and Steer— bridle driving on the ground first (soft hand
w/water)
Grooming after the ride—haltering to clean still
